Men seeking care at the Prostate Center have access to highly experienced surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, prostate cancer nurses and counselors. These professionals are complemented by an array of supportive services including social workers, nutritional counseling, and pastoral care.
The Prostate Center’s well-established clinical team, supported by dedicated clinical nurse coordinators and patient navigators, provides the best care available for men, with a focus on preserving quality of life in the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis – care of the whole person. This tradition is found throughout Georgetown University Hospital, which is home to Lombardi and the Prostate Center.
Our goal is to cure prostate cancer, to maximize quality of life for patients, and to advance state-of-the-art cancer treatement.
