The management of patients with prostate cancer requires a carefully planned treatment approach that depends on a number of factors including stage of the disease, the age and health of the patient, and quality of life concerns. At the Prostate Center, care is provided by a team of clinical specialists that includes urologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
The physicians that make up this multidisciplinary clinic use their combined expertise to address all aspects of a patient’s care. They work with the patient and their family to ensure coordinated, personalized care. Supporting them are nurse case managers, social workers, nutritionists, psychologists and Patient Navigators.
