James Regan, MD
James Regan, MD, is an associate professor and attending physician in the Department of Urology. Specializing in male sexual dysfunction and all forms of prostate disease – both benign and cancerous – Dr. Regan is a frequent speaker at medical centers and hospitals across the nation. A graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico, he completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Regan is engaged in research on high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) as an alternative form of prostate cancer treatment. In addition, Dr. Regan was principle investigator at Georgetown for clinical trials testing the safety and efficacy of Viagra, and his work has been published in several well-respected journals.
